Smithers & Area Housing Society continues to provide recycling services to our local community. We currently employ individuals who pick-up files/documents for shredding, cardboard and electronics from local business and bring them to the B.V. Bottle Depot for processing. Once at the depot, we have individuals with developmental disabilities that participate in shredding documents and baling cardboard while being assisted and supervised by a volunteer.

Our current rate for the confidential shredding service is $ 1.00/lb + gst. as well as a $50.00 pick up fee. You can also drop off your documents at the BV Bottle Depot .
